Philosophy

Pediatric Therapy Associates take a strength-based, developmental approach toward wholeness rather than a view of disability or dysfunction. Current research in the field of neuroscience and brain neuroplasticity indicates that our brain can literally be rewired to have improved sensory integration, emotional regulation, and develop secure attachments which are necessary for functional independence and higher level critical thinking.

Therapists at Pediatric Therapy Associates are credentialed, licensed and have specialized training to serve the needs of children.

Pediatric Therapy Associates believe that a child’s sensory motor development, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual selves are interrelated and attention must be given to the whole child to maximize and develop the child’s potential to the fullest.

We help each child develop to the fullest, applying research, science and art in our practice.
